Journey to Hawaiki to New Zealand

A few weeks ago we went and experienced what a planetarium is and looks like, we also learnt about the tribe that traveled to New Zealand first and how there journey was like. After we had to do this fun follow up task and we had to make an animation of retelling the story of how they got there. My favorite part of my animation was when the pig drowned because it took me the longest and it has lots of detail. I really enjoyed my experience at the planetarium because we also got to learn about stars and where the Waka,hook ,and all of the stars are. Overall this was really cool and such a fun task.

Chanelle and Perle win a Tesla from David Dobrick!!

Today we learned about is it real or fake. We had to try and recreate some fake news. my partner was Perle and we choose to do... We won a Tesla from David Dobrick. David Dobrick is a famous TikToker and Youtuber. We found it hard to cut out the background of ourselves and put it in the image. We found it fun to take the photo and see the end reval. Overal this was lots of fun and we love the end results   

The Dog Bone Adventure

 

Dog Bone adventure

At tonui collab we made a really fun game I called my game The dog bone adventure. The reason why I called it that is because it is a dog chasing it's bone but I did not have time to do the bone at the end.

I found it hard to code the game because there were so many things to choose from. I found it easy to make the tiles in the game and make my character.  Overall it was such a fun experience and would love to make more games. I really enjoyed it a recommend that you use scratch to make your very own game 

Ducky Scratch Game

 Today we learnt all about scratch. What I found hard to do today was to delete the character and replace it I also found it hard to do the questions. I found it really easy to change the background and write everything. I really enjoyed doing the whole thing. Next time I will improve and make it better a base it about Maori. This was overall super fun!

CopyRight Challange

\ We were learning about copyright and how it is really bad. So we did the copyright challenge. First of all we had to find copyright photos either from labeled for reuse or useing my own photos I found it easy to... I found it hard to... I really enjoyed... Next time I need to not rush

ANZAC Animation

This week we had to do a animation on ANZAC. Since I was new to the animation world I decided to make my character walk across the screen and then salute. I choose to focus on WW1 which is the first time New Zealand and Australian soldiers fought together and called themself the ANZAC(Australian New Zealand Army Core). I called my character James Charles Scott after my Poppa's great uncle.
