This term has been action packed filled with exciting and new things. I have had a blast this term and can not wait to go to intermediate next year. Next year is going to be an exciting new adventure.
Jump Jam
One of my highlights were going to Taragua because we got into nationals, my team and I were super excited. We practiced really hard and spent all our lunch times, were ready for the competition. That morning we had to wake up SUPER early and get ready and out the door by eight. I had all emotions through me as we all had eyes on the prize the trophy! As we all waited with emotions I was our turn we had been practicing everyday and it all came down to this moment. "Attention"Shouted Jamai we all went into our army mode the loud music pumped out of the speakers. I put all my energy, emotion, time to this. I had so much fun it was a blast a time I will never forget sadly the song ended but with joy and we all had smiles and definitely thought we had a shot at winning. Unfortunately they announced the winners we sadly did not get a placing I think we were all really disappointed. But we all had so much fun and it was all worth it in end all though we did not win in was still a memory i will never forget.
Athletics
Athletics was so enjoyable even though i did not win anything or come a placing it was still a blast. Unfortunately Nellie (the house captain) was sick but Mania still needed a house captain so when Koka Ngaire asked my hand shot straight up and I was the new house captain. I had so much fun being the house captain. But before you new it the races were done my race was coming up. Now i'm not the fastest runner in the school but I tried my very best and maybe running is not for me but i'm good at other things. The big clap went and I was of I did not get a placing but maybe next time sprints is not my best. Now it was time for high jump I was good at that but other people were better than me and again did not get a placing but I still did better that last were I accidentally went on the wrong side and could not jump. After that it was time to go to ball throw and yes again did not get a placing but my friends did and I was super happy for them. The day had finally come to an end I was glad it came to an end because I was exhausted.
